Applicants have until 30 April to request funds for projects
The International Foundation for Online Responsibility (IFFOR) today opened its grants program, inviting applications for the next three months.
Those organizations considering projects that fit with IFFOR’s Policy Goals are encouraged to apply online from now until 30 April 2014. A grants committee will review all applications and announce the successful applicant(s) on 1 July 2014.
This is the second time IFFOR has run the grants program. The first time, grants were awarded to: the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) which used the grant money to conduct research about methodologies to prevent the viewing of child abuse content; and Innovative Identity, which used the grant money to produce a white paper on age verification.
The current grant fund available is $10,000 USD. Based upon the applications received, IFFOR will determine if the money is granted to one or multiple projects/applicants.
