IFFOR Vice Chair, Mr. Sebastien Bachollet was keynote speaker at three events held by the Internet Society Trinidad and Tobago Chapter in the second week of January 2012.
Invitees included the Telecommunication Regulator, Ministry officials, business and trade community, entertainment industry, local ICT companies, non-governmental organisations, the ccTLD holder, members of the press and Internet Society Trinidad and Tobago members.
Mr. Bachollet’s presentation detailed the role, structure, membership, funding and current work of IFFOR whilst also highlighting the importance of online privacy, freedom of expression and protection of children. Attendees listened in interest and Mr Bachollet was encouraged to finish his presentation even during a power outage at one of the events entitled “An evening with Sebastien Bachollet”.
